This application builds on the LIBSENSE ECR Network Expansion call launched last year, which was open to early-career researchers and focused on building a pan-African open-science ECR network.
It relates to participation in the LIBSENSE Open Science Early Career Researcher (ECR) Leadership Workshop taking place on 28–29 April 2026.
This Nigeria-specific pilot will develop and test practical ECR leadership frameworks and toolkits for use in Nigeria and reuse across other countries to support the continued growth of the wider LIBSENSE ECR Network.
A subset of participants will be selected as ECR Champions and will take on additional leadership and mentoring roles over a 12-month period.
